SoCon Tournament Championship
* Wofford 10-15, Samford 9-9
- The Terriers were among the nation's scoring leaders all season and the offensive got cranked again Sunday to earn them the Southern Conference championship and automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.

Wofford's only previous trip to the NCAA Tournament came after wining the 2007 SoCon title.

Wofford (41-18) entered the day needing to beat Samford twice, and showed it was focused on that task early, taking a 6-0 lead after 3 1/2 innings in Game 1 and withstanding a five-run Samford rally in its final at-bat for a 10-9 win.

It was more of the same in Game 2. First-year coach J.J. Edwards' Terriers  scored four runs in the first, third and fourth innings and led 15-3 before Samford scored the game's final six runs. Wofford hit four home runs.

The Terriers collected 32 hits - 12 of them for extra bases - in the pair of wins.

Wofford will learn its tournament destination at noon Monday when the complete 64-team field is announced on ESPN2.

CAA Tournament Championship
* UNCW 6, College of Charleston 4 - Trevor Marsh's two-run single in the seventh inning gave the Seahawks the lead and UNCW relievers retired the final 14 Cougars batters to claim the championship and automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.

Avery Neaves gave the College a 3-1 lead with a two-run homer in the second, and an unearned run make the score 4-1 in the third.

Single runs in the fourth and fifth innings pulled the Seahawks with a run, setting the stage for Marsh's heroics.

The Cougars (41-14) wait to see if their body of work was enough to earn an at-large bid when selections are announced on Monday.

* College of  Charleston 11, Delaware 1 - Earlier Sunday, the Cougars completed  their win over Delaware. The College had been leading, 10-1, in the bottom of the seventh on Saturday when the game was halted by rain. Luke Wood hit two homers and drove in five runs, while Aidan Hunter allowed one runs and struck out seven in seven innings.
