USC players help two families

WIS-TV in Columbia reports University of South Carolina baseball players are giving some help to a pair of families experiencing some tough times this Christmas because of illnesses to children. There's a video posted with this story, but I couldn't get it to work in Firefox. It did play in Internet Explorer. USC assistant coach Chad Holbrook can understand the issues. His son, Reece, has been battling leukemia.

  • On a side note, USC athletic officials on Tuesday announced 11 secondary violations of NCAA policies. No information was given that would indicate any of the violations were related to the baseball program.
