Bryan Lewallyn was promoted from interim head coach to head coach at USC Beaufort on Thursday.
Lewallyn took over on an interim basis when Rick Sofield took a job in the Pittsburgh Pirates' organization and led the Sand Sharks to their first-ever trip to the NAIA World Series.
