ACC beefs up baseball video schedule
A record 104 Atlantic Coast Conference baseball games will air on cable TV networks or the Internet this season, the league announced on Thursday.

Sixteen Clemson games are included. Most other Clemson home games will will air on the Tigercast video service.

Gamecocks picked second in SEC East
Baseball America picks South Carolina to finish finish second to Vanderbilt in the SEC East Division this season. The newspaper/Website picks the Gamecocks to be among 10 SEC teams earning NCAA Tournament bids.

The preview lists no Gamecocks among the top 20 SEC prospects for the 2013 draft, but lists shortstop Joey Pankake (Easley High) and catcher Grayson Greiner (Blythewood High) as the Nos. 9 and 10 prospects for the 2014 draft. Georgia's Hunter Cole (Dorman High) is listed as the No. 5 prospect for that draft.

USC infielder Max Schrock is listed as the No. 6 newcomer in the conference for 2013.

Pankake and Greiner are listed as having the best arms at their positions. Outfielder Tanner English is listed as the fastest runner.
