Holbrook, Lee among club speakers
South Carolina's Chad Holbrook will be the featured speaker at the year's first meeting of the Upstate Baseball/Softball Club Feb. 8 at the Phoenix Inn in Greenville.

Clemson's Monte Lee, Furman's Ron Smith and North Greenviulle's are among the other speakers. The complete schedule is listed below.

Meetings begin at noon. Membership costs $25 and allows attendees to eat the buffet lunch for $10. Call Ron Scarborough at 864-505-5071 for more information.

Clemson's Okey honored
Clemson catcher Chris Okey was a first-team selection on Baseball America's preseason all-American team.

USC Lancaster gets added home games
USC Lancaster's scheduled Saturday doubleheader at Catawba Valley CC will be played at Doomsday Corner in Lancaster instead. The teams also play two games in Lancaster on Sunday.
