15 Drive games set for broadcast TV

Fifteen Greenville Drive home games will be broadcast on over-the-air (free) TV this season on the Palmetto Sports & Entertainment network.

PS&E was started by Gray Media last year, with a focus on sports in South Carolina.  The network already had broadcast agreements with the Charleston RiverDogs and Columbia Fireflies baseball teams, as well as the Greenville Swamp Rabbits and South Carolina Stingrays hockey teams, and the Charleston Battery, Greenville Liberty and Greenville Triumph soccer teams.

The network, which broadcasts 24 hours a day, also has carried college football and basketball, as well as Carolina Hurricanes hockey and Charlotte Hornets basketball.

It also will televise several spring training and regular-season games for the Atlanta Braves this season.

PS&E affiliates include WHNS (21.2) in the Upstate, WIS (10.4) in the Midlands, WCSC (5.3) in the Lowcountry and WMBF (32.3) in the Grand Strand. They can be picked up with an antenna, although some may be carried on cable systems.

Gray has similar networks in Georgia, the Ohio Valley, the Deep South and Ohio.
