* Briefly:
 Clemson (6-1) hit four home runs and Josh Paino and Jacob Jarrell drove in four runs apiece as the Tigers won their winning streak to five ... Jase Woita hit two of South Carolina's (9-0) five home runs in a 14-4 seven-inning win over Gardner-Webb. Former Erskine Dale Francis Jr. had three of the Bulldogs' six hits ... Coastal Carolina (7-2) scored five runs in the seventh to overtake UNCW ... North Greenville (15-1) scored seven runs in the first inning as it collected its sixth straight win ... The Citadel (4-4)  was held to two hits, but six Presbyterian (4-4) errors  helped the Bulldogs win their second straight game ... Wofford (7-1) broke a tie score with four runs in the fourth to extend its winning streak to four ... Avery Neaves' two-run homer in the fourth inning put College of Charleston (6-2) ahead as it got a road win over Georgia Southern ... Kyle Caccamise had three hits and drove in two runs as Anderson (9-5) won its fifth straight ... Florence-Darlington Tech (12-6) scored in every inning to run-rule the Francis Marion JV ... Luke Johnson struck out six and allowed one run in six innings as Lander (10-5) won its eighth straight game ... A lineout double play helped Voorhees (4-7) escape a bases-loaded situation in the seventh and win the first game of a doubleheader at Edward Waters, but the hosts returned the favor by stranding three Tigers in Game 2 for the split ... A big fifth inning lifted Cleveland CC over USC Lancaster (5-10) ... South Georgia claimed a run-rule win over USC Salkehatchie (1-14)in Game 1 with a fifth-inning outburst and held off a late Indians rally in Game 2 ... Bob Jones (2-7) got the potential tying run to third in the ninth inning, but Truett McConnell held on for the victory. Conley Burk singled and homered for the Bruins ... Spartanburg Methodist (2-13) bounced back from Montreat's nine-run first inning to tie the score in the eighth, but the Cavaliers pushed across a run in the bottom of the inning for the win.

* Beyond the border: Richmond handed N.C. State its fifth straight loss, 5-1 ... Campbell upended No. 17 Duke, 9-6 ... No. 21 Troy, coached by former pitching coach Skylar Meade, beat No. 18 Mississippi State, 6-5.
